Bangladesh Will Sign a Defense Deal With Saudi Arabia

Bangladesh will sign a defense treaty agreement with the country on 14 February to increase military cooperation with Saudi Arabia. After the meeting with Chief of Bangladesh Army General Aziz Ahmed Saudi Joint Chiefs Fayed Al-Ruayili, the Chief of the Army, the Chief of the Army, said the decision. This was stated in a press release of the Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh.

Under the agreement, Bangladesh Army will work to remove mines in the war-torn areas of the border between Saudi and Yemen. Under the agreement, 1800 Bangladeshi soldiers will be deployed.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh said that the army chief of Bangladesh said that the names of four officers, including Brigadier General, were named for appointment to the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition in Saudi Arabia. The army’s army will continue to cooperate with the coalition, said the army chief.
